Ida.......your message is a perfect example of something that happens in short crop areas......producers tend to be slower sellers of their crop for a variety of reasons. We actually end up buying more spot corn in the latter parts of summer from the areas where the crop has been short than in the areas with normal production and more normal selling patterns.
