Regardless of how you initially define your variable rate zones, measuring protein (in wheat) during harvest will tell you whether you applied too little or too much based on the critical protein % of your variety. From a protein map, you will be able to alter your zones for better management. With out this feed back, you are guessing.



Off topic but do you have any statistical information discussing the temperature stability of your (DSquared) NIR device? I do not see anything on your website discussing temperature.
