Adelaide Hills, South Australia | Everyone told me not to do it in 1994. I didn't listen. My parents said there is no future here in dairying. They have done it all their lives. My girlfriend at the time said if you really want to, do it, she grew up on a dairy. I got even with her, married 14 years now. I have bought 2 neighbours small farms and built a new dairy, plenty of machines had overseas trips, great wife and 3 kids learning and enjoying farming. Everything I had ever dreamed of. I have enjoyed it but it doesn't mean I'm here forever. If you are sure you want to jump in and give it a red hot go!!
