NW Washington | Many, many university professors, NRCS and USDA Phd's and their associated worker bees across this great land have made careers out of studying soil erosion and trying to come up with a Universal Soil Loss Equation and now it is the Revised USLE that is meaningful. I been involved with various soil erosion projects and studies over the years and IMHO the RUSLE is completely bogas. The government has studied the soil erosion situation to death and they still don't know what is happening. As a friend once said, if they ever solved the problem they would be out of job. And I agree, you can't tell a NRCS anything, no matter who you are or what your training and experience. | |
