| I bought this Kelley last year to clean out irrigation ditches and do other things. It works OK and does serious digging if you stay in one place. I dug out a gravel hill in front of my house using it that was about 3 1/2 feet deep, 4 feet wide and about 20 feet long.
I used it this spring to clean out irrigation ditches, and it worked OK.
It works well for what I wanted and was cheap. Using it the few times I have has paid for it in what it would have cost me to rent one...which I already did for a couple jobs here.
The biggest drawback is it has such a short reach. I do some digging and then have to move the tractor, then pretty soon it's all day up and down off the tractor. Again, it works for what I need and was cheap.
If I were digging tile, I would buy a backhoe. Much, much faster and would likely have the power you need to dig deep.
