east central iowa
I put a Bradco on a Jd 2750 mfwd last fall. It runs on the tractor hydraulics. It is the biggest 3 pt Bradco makes. I like it a lot. It takes us 15 minutes to dig a starter hole. We can dig the whole starter hole without moving the tractor. The gold digger tile plow dealer dug our first hole in about less than 10 minutes and he said it was too long but I was amazed. So the moral here is that as long as I don't try a big new backhoe then I will be happy. I think the backhoe was like 9500 brand new. It's got plenty of power as far as we're concerned. It's all a matter of perspective. If your going to go do this commercially then you'll want a bigger machine that's a little faster. Oh and a cab with heat would be good too.
