Thanks every one for your opinions.
They weighed every wheel possition and measured my wheel base. The truck was over weight and the elevator's scale confirmed it. I was all set to pay up, but now this date thing got me thinking.
I guess that I had better play by the rules now and just go to court when I was told. Hope the doors aren't locked.
