just had a calf about same size do the same thing about a month ago. I did the same things as mentioned above, slow to heal and went off feed for a while. But she is alot better and can put weight on it. Last year my boys 4-H calf broke his front leg in a freak deal, he won the rate of gain at over 5 pounds a day so dont give up to quick.
Calf with broken leg, what are the options?
