Well trakman I'v been watching this thread all day, I'm with ya. You do a good job of keeping your tractors clean they look awesome! I think though 300 hour oil changes wouldn't hurt them either:-)
Here's what I like to do in the winter when they go through the shop. And I don't even own them! If I'm supposed to maintain them like they're mine I'm also gonna take the time to make them look good at least to start planting.
The 100 hour oil change was taught to me by my father and was a must. Yes, I realize that oils are better now, filters are better and probably engines are designed to handle 150,300, even 500 hour oil changes but this is just me. I know it costs ME probably $125 to $150 to change the oil and filter, but I feel better doing it.
