Sauk Centre MN | My father could not afford to "give" me anything when I took over the farm. But he told me he would help drive tractor until he no longer could. Well that lasted 17 yrs. I could not imagine the amount of wages I would have paid someone else in that time frame. Yep, wrecked a lot of stuff, but like everyone else on here states, I have done my fair share of damage.
I buried my father 2 wks ago. He was 89. The day before he died he thanked me for letting him help all those years. I gave him the biggest hug I ever gave anyone and told him I wouldn't have wanted anyone else in our equipment.
God.... I really miss him
This was the first harvest that he was not around...it was really hard not seeing his truck in the yard.
Well my screen got pretty blurry so I better quit. | |
