+1 on the wiring!  All wiring should be inside conduit. It scares me to see wires stapled to the bottom of boards and crimp connectors. That little wire will likely at some point be the difference between having an accident or not.

Wiring on a trailer is a pretty good indicator of how the rest of it is put together, painted, etc.
