| To my knowledge, drs have never checked my B12. I have taken metformin for quite some time and now take the max dose available.
My iron levels are consistently low in blood tests. My family dr says that makes me slightly anemic and recommended that I take a OTC daily women's mulivitamin with iron in it. Since I already had my men's vitamin without iron, I bought the iron seperately. Next time I'm in the office I'm going to run the metformin/B12 connection thing by him.
