| I have some OTC "21st Century" brand iron tablets I bought recently from the drug store. Each tablet contains 65 mg (361%DV) of iron as dry ferrous sulfate. price was $4.99 for 100 tablets. Recommended to take one tablet daily. http://www.21stcenturyvitamins.com/products.asp?i=229&c=2&sc=5
Today I bought some B12 tablets at the grocery store. They are the store brand vitamin B-12 500mcg tablet. Recommended dose is one tablet per day provides 8333%DV (that is not a misprint) They had much stronger B12 tablets on the shelf. IIRC, up to 5000 mcg pills with a DV of over 40000%. (no misprint) I thought I would start with this and see if it makes any difference over a period of time.
Blood tests always show I am low on iron and anemic. The label on the bottle states: "Vitamin B-12 (Cyanocobalamin) promotes maintenance and growth of tissue and is essential to red blood cell formation."
