Interesting prolapse comments. Russ I don't know how you would do the endloader thing in a stanchion barn. But it sounds like a good idea to use on beefers. But what do I know about beefers? Nothing!

mizzou, yes, agree. This was not even a pull. She basically had it by herself. Interestingly, we have found no relationship between difficulty of calving and prolapsing. I think we get more because our cows are tied up for 2 weeks before they calve, with no exercise. We have nowhere else to put them to watch them close before calving. I am told we have more torsions due to that process as well.
