Kaukauna WI | Joelt, good question. It can happen right away, and you're lucky when they do that because you are still there. The longest we've had one is like 12 hours after giving birth. Most are 2-3 hours I suspect. Those are the ones we miss if they calved right before bedtime. But we've had one that calved at 11 am, we went in the house at noon, came back out at 3, and she had been dead awhile already. Totally sucks. But can't live with them. | |
