Kaukauna WI | We didn't come into it totally blind, upstate. We both came from dairy farms and my husband has a degree in dairy science, worked in AI, feed sales and herd manager for a large farm, until that barn burned down, then he was out of a job......guy didn't rebuild. He didn't want to work for anybody anymore. Being a herd manager, he didn't get much time off anyhow, might as well work for yourself. So here we are. But, things cash flowed very well those first 3 years buying every stitch of feed. Now, it's an entirely different story. How can it pencil out? It takes more than desire. Desire doesn't pay the bills. | |
