When I was in High School had a heifer go down after trying to calf. Calf was dead when we got the vet out, worked for 45 min. couldn't pull so took dead calf out in pieces. Vet estimated 150 lbs. Stood mama up and held while she ate twice a day for 7 days. on 8th morning she was standing waiting for grain. Some things you never forget.
Feedlot heifer calved. Problems.
