Guesse I never esplained why i tie the legs together but when they try to get up in this comditon they tend to do the splits. I had two heifers in one spring go down and they both with time and patence got better. If she does get better I would sell her .One of my two went down about three calves later when bull went to breed her. They don't seem to get perfect again.
