WC IL | The CDL rules are consistent state to state. The enforcement of them isn't. For that matter, the enforcement of the rules varies from officer to officer. That is what the real problem is. And I think the days of " Gee, I'm just a dumb farmer" are over. The states need money, and trucks are a pretty easy target. If you want to roll the dice that you won't get caught, go for it. But don't complain if you do get caught, because I think you've been presented with some good advice on here. | |
