CO, NE
In NE, the signs say that all pickups with trailers must stop. I have noticed that the weigh stations aren't open on Sunday very often. I think most of the farm-plate rules only apply within 150 miles of your farm.

On a personal opinion note, I think it's complete bull that you would have to deal with any commercial vehicle stuff in that situation. You're using a farm plated vehicle to get farm-related supplies for your farm equipment. Seems pretty farm-related to me, sheesh.

Many years ago, my Dad got a ticket in Harrisburg. He was using an old 1 1/2 ton grain truck that he'd stuffed a fairly large motor in to go get a load of fence posts. What was the ticket for, you might ask? Drag racing.
