| I have applied AA in the falll since the mid '70s and can count one one hand, not including my thumb, & have fingers left over the number of times fall AA has let me down. Can't say that about our spring applied AA & definetly about 28%. In 2008 we had 13" of rain in 8 days. COC that had fall applied AA was still our best corn.
FWIW, I haven't been up this year but have many times in past years, BIL has his own planes, but he had surgery in early July so isn't able to fly. I learned a long time ago what matters is what's in the hopper at the end of the row, not what it looks like.
