Safety is all to often driven by tougher regulations, and I do not think companies who sell and/or set-off fireworks professionally are managed with as tight of an iron fist as they should be. Military and police bomb disposal units have years of professional training to safely defuse and remove explosives, your local fireworks folks have limited training and are setting them off over the heads of your family and friends.
A little story about fireworks------------ just be careful out there.........
