Back when I was in my early teens a neighbor kid was lighting off firecrackers. He lit one, got ready to throw it and it went off right next to his ear. He was screaming and in intense pain. Blood was running out of his ear. Scared the crap out of him and me. He never learned his lesson, as later on that summer he was playing with matches in the hay barn, caught it on fire and it burned to the ground. There was no end to the mischief this kid got into.
A little story about fireworks------------ just be careful out there.........
