Good advice for everything we do. Always have an escape route. Firefighting taught me that years ago.
When my kids were small, I taught them to always locate the emergency exit as they entered a building. Theatres, auditoriums, eateries,stores, anywhere. Twenty years later, if we go to a movie, I will make them close their eyes and tell where the nearest exit is.
Crap does happen .You never know. Be prepared.
