It's not a big deal to bag several hundred doves or ducks perfectly legally over the course of a season.  This is kind of like the "BTO" threads....they need to be harvested and are going to be harvested, what difference does it make whether they are harvested by one guy hunting ten days, or ten guys hunting one day?    What is the difference between eating dove and eating chicken?  Well, other then having to spit out the occasional shot?

You are making a big fuss over a point which has no merit.
