| Hi guys,
The fact of the matter is that labor cost in Brazil represents the fattest chunck of the operational cost of any business. Some say that if you pay $1 as sallary, you pay $2 to the government in taxes.
To say that their achievements are dependant on low labor costs is nonetheless a display of lack of knowledge.
Low labor costs apply to countries such as China and the recently applauded asiatic tigers - not Brazil.
It's important to highlight that slavery is still found in countries such as the US and Brazil but they do not represent the majority nor the general rule of the country.
Why do we insist on denying our neighbor's efficiency that despite of an almost 4 times more expensive logistic costs than US', they are still able to compete on a very competitive global economy, specially with agri-products?
It's not easy to grow that much without subsidies, dear folks !
And our neighbor from below the Equator has done a good deal of improvement and withouth any government help. That's a fact. | |
