| I'm not excited about low priced ethanol coming in from Brazil due to my investments in land and crops. However, when I step back and look at the bigger picture we need to start embracing our neighbors to the South. With the current situation in Iran and the likelihood of continued unrest in the Middle East, we can't bet the future of our country on unreliable suppliers of energy.
Bush knows we are heading towards a show down with Iran. $3 gas will seem cheap if a major military battle is required to stop Iran's nuclear ambitions.
Bush or any US politition needs to have the security of the US as top priority. High corn prices are not their major concern. | |
