Don, thanks for the insight.  I'm obviously behind the times on RTK, so you'll have to explain how you get 29 miles away from the base.  Do you have repeaters along the way?  I was under the impression you needed a base station every 6-8 miles with line of sight to the tractor/implement.  I do remember reading that a repeater would alleviate the need for line of sight, but I also remember them stating the importance of not getting too far from the base.

It sounds like the rules of RTK are getting rewritten.  I'm glad to hear of these advancements!  BTW, what brand of RTK are you using?  In your opinion, are all the brands headed in the same direction with RTK?
