Central SD | Just curious. Our 4WD and combine are both integrated. Didn't get the oppurtunity to combine any of our corn, but we did autosteer our sunflowers. Had to shift track quite often on some fields (days) and not on others. We combined on the AB lines created by the planter. I blamed it on the planting tractor or combine (both?) getting going too early (before 90-100%) convergence. Our 12-row head matches our 24 rows, so skip rows aren't a problem. I hadn't considered drafting causing problems. | |
