Subject: Honest opinion on row cleaners

Northeast Illinois
Got a new 3600 kinze planter last season and now am wondering about row cleaners. Planning on some CoC this year as opposed to the normal corn/bean rotation. Fields we selected had a pretty fair crop last season and were ripped with a JD 512 , so naturally there is plenty if residue on top. Wondering if a guy could get away w/o row cleaners or not take the risk and just get them. Was thinking about the Yetter coulter mounts ones if I was going to get them. Any opinions would be appreciated ---- Greg
