That sounds just the opposite of our coop. I have never had an irrigation outage that lasted more than a few hours. One time the underground line into my house failed so they brought in a generator till they could fix the line. The next winter they replaced the line.
If it happened on my farm I would send them a check and forget about it. But never let the employee forget about it:)
What would you do if billed over $2000 for electric pole replacement ??
