Subject: What would you do if billed over $2000 for electric pole replacement ??

NC Missouri

Our employee bumped a rotten pole last fall while turning the disc on the end-row.  Ameren UE had a crew in the area changing similar poles so they quickly remedied the busted pole when I informed them of the problem.  Today at lunch my mother said she had recently received a bill for the replacement.  $350 for the pole, $1,900 for equipment and supplies.  I believe she must have had a labor charge as well since the total was around $2,900.

What would you do with something so ridiculous??
