I suppose you could talk to them about it.... I'm sure that your time is worth more than the circuis that will devolve into :(
For here and evermore you learn.... if not seen, you quote Bart Simpson. I didn't do it.........

I dug a guide wire out with a dozer one day around dusk about 5 years ago. I watched half a mile of wire and poles swaying. I was lucky nothing worse happened.... I had been pushing small spruce tree out of an old pit and didn't even see the wire... which shouldn't have been where it was to start with.
I took a look at it, decided it wasn't dangerous as it was... and left.
They fixed it sometime later.
They can't be fair with someone when these things happen so there's no need trying to be fair with them.
