Ontario
I should clarify though that DeKalb has some good corn. The problem becomes the manipulation they now push on us after we entrusted them with our dollars. This is the reward we get from DeKalb after elevating them to the top.

What I am trying to say is its probably wise to try a few companies for seed & don't give DeKalb 100% of your business. (And I understand it takes time to evaluate/try alternatives.) So after getting hooked on DeKalb there is a withdrawal period.

But if we don't support some of the other seed companies at this time, eventually DeKalb & Monsanto will have us by the you know what!

Yes and speaking of withdrawal, LOL, Dustin! (Re: John Deere) Yes they have many of us hooked pretty good too! But so far they have not made me sign contracts that say I can't hook a Red, Blue, Yellow machine behind my addicted to green paint grunt monster!

JD has some good competition in the combines... great post about a week ago on Lexion, Case IH and JD.

Some good tractors from other makes too.
