Subject: Re: pioneer vrs dekalb

West Michigan
Nothing that pioneer has can compete with 52-59 on our farm. Had it side by side with V53 this year lost be 5-6 bu and was 1.5-2% wetter. Also had it against Y26 ?? (I think that is the number) and it got beat bad. Can find hybrids that will keep up with M here but they are always 2% wetter. And the others have a hybrid that will keep up. M has great depth to the line up right now in the 98 to 105 RM here. I know most will say the hybrids are all related because of the one female they whore around but I have never had problems yet. Hope to find some other company that will keep up so I don't have to buy unwanted traits to get the genetics I want. Going to try Nu-Tech this year.
