Probably because he wants corn that stands and has good test weight. Sorry to be bitter, but I had some Golden Harvest corn on my farm this year (9127) and it was down and the test weight was under 50 lbs! I'm going to give Syngenta at least five years to catch up with Monsanto and Pioneer before trying it again.
