I have done what you are going to do on one field last year and one field the year before. Both were the best beans I have ever raised.
Spray at least 1/2 gal of ru as soon as it starts to green up in the spring. Then spray again as soon as you see any regrowth, hopefully this will be planting time the second time. Plant a good inch in the dirt or deeper cause you wont be able to close the v very good but if you keep them deep they will be fine.
You will spray when they close the rows, mine were 15inch, and they will be as clean as a pin. Worked perfect 2 years in a row here.
