So I was second place bidder about 2 years ago on a piece of ground. I was in the area today and stopped by to say hi to the sellers. Come to find out they still haven’t officially sold the land, they haven’t even set a closing date because they’re battling with 1st place bidder about getting paid rent due to them and some other details they didn’t tell me. 1st place bidder signed purchase agreement then rented it out last 2 years and collected all rent money while Seller was still paying property tax. Sellers didn’t put an ending date clause or anything like that in purchase agreement. Sellers are furious about this situation and want to move on to list it again (since it’s worth much more now than 2 years ago). Is there any chance for me or am I still 2nd place?? Thanks.
You say land where you’re at is worth much more than it was two years ago ? Have you told that to some of the folks on here ? I thought 5 percent cds was just murdering the crap outa land……………..,..
