Jim, The planting conditions you just described for cotton is very similar to planting sugar beets. When conditions are right we would like to plant 5/8" deep and crusting is always a problem without a timely rain. We try to plant all stail seed bed, but still work some ground in the spring for beets. Do you have any beet growers using the Curvetines? Thanks Mark Shaw
