Elkmont, AL | I use two curvetines on the back of a kinze tail piece on the least downpressure setting planting cotton and they do a excellent job in no-till. Plant corn and beans also and work great. I wouldnt notill without them. The blount finger doesn't dig like some others. Wished I had the newer style with the webing to keep rocks and rootballs from getting between the tines, but only a minor inconvenience. Only time I have ever had trouble was when it was extremely dry in conventional till and the rubber tires did a better job of sealing what little moisture there was in, but that year was a 1 in a 100 year drought! | |
