| Thanks Jim. I probably won't be planting that much cotton anyway. It is really on the other crops that I would be most interested in what would work. It just seems like in the no-till, unless conditions are really good, if I run pressure to close the slot, I end up with to strips of hard mud on top. Usually, with milo, if the soil is warm enough to plant, and solid enough to plant, leaving the slot open isn't usually that big a deal, as the milo will sprout anyway. But I really would feel better with dirt on top. I just wondered about the curvetines or others with the 1" deep milo, and if there was any tendency to move to much dirt on the sides of the seed. | |
