SCIA | Here: The ECCE of pit lime is 670. The ECCE of wet lime, at 25% moisture is 1550+-. We spread several thousand ton a year, through a ARRTEX spreader, with a cyclone spinner. It is a little over a 2 to 1 value, wet to dry. It also depends how wet the "dry" lime is. If it has been raining a lot and the pit lime is wet, it might get to a 3 to 1 wet to dry.
The other thing to take into consideration is the Mag levels in your soils and the type of dry lime from your local source. | |
