Wisconsin | here, wet lime sludge is piled for a year so it's slightly more spreadable. It will be finer than ground rock lime, so it will react immediately, but have no longer term affect. The ground lime neutralizing value will be based on fineness mostly, but the part that is not neutralized in the first year will still be there working slowly in two to twenty years. really coarse stuff will never react though | |
