I agree with the ph scale being progressive. I know in this area people lime every few years to keep the ph up.

I’ve been watching some agphd lately and they are claiming the same thing, up to 4-5 tons of high calcium lime in one application to loosen soil more or less.

Everyone’s soils are different just want to learn what others do or what effect certain practices have on the soil. All very interesting


Theres large differences in lime and listening to agphd is fine but they have much different soils than most of Ohio. Searching for articles on lime from Ohio State extension would serve you much better.
