Local factory packing boxes of wipes was in that just over minimum wage wage. Now they advertised in milwaukee stations so they must have had a big turnover but they are a sizeable company. Not all were this but wasn't so high of wage that retail was losing people to them. Around here regionally there is a wide divide between low wage earners to skilled trades. 20 years ago these jobs are filled by 'mothers that all the kids were now off to school' niche, now the same needs to be filled by people that need a full time living.

Today the struggle to fill spaces is everywhere and the job market needs to pay to fill. Happens every boom cycle.
