You do know they are competing with a robot that can be bought for $50,000.00. Production workers have zero invested in their job. Trades have spent years to get their license.

Trades is were to be , my Brother just retired as Millwright and in past 20 yrs. paid in excess of $1 million in income tax.....Gov't says 'u made to much in 2020 working so your old age security now that u are 65 will be $6 month'

Greenhouses are really trying to get robots as even the 'cheap' offshore labor costs them $20 hr. + the hassles...

I know Chrysler used to prefer to pay aa million for a robot to replace 3 men on swing shifts....and robots don't complain....

Life has never been easy , when I started in construction in '71 I got $2.50 hr. and was happy as previous farm job paid $1.75....I was in big time then $100 week gross, $80 taked home
