Extreme SW Minnesota Iowa border
Go in an apply. See what they really pay.
My daughter was set to be a Marine right after she graduated from high school in 2020. Well the Marine corp kept moving her departure date so she just got a job as a parts runner for a regional parts house. One that I have done business with for 40 years. Told her all the perks, and bennies, and she would get 10 dollars an hour to start with. After 6 months she never got close to that. The first 3 months you work for a "temp agency". Then they put you on a probationary wage. So, I told her to ask the manager what was going on. They said, they never promised anything like that. What a bold faced lie. I was the one they told what she would be paid. Guess they don't mind losing me as a customer.

But yes, you hear all this B.S about big wages. Don't believe it.
