Not sure if your not remembering history completely as it was. Plenty of places where English was not the first language spoken for a generation or two by the newly arrived immigrants. You have a jaded view of history if you think as soon as immigrants arrived they became Americanized. Also what does that even mean. If a community has an Octoberfest or Wurstmart does that make the community non Americanized?
So is this what America as Venezuela looks like?
