The democrats will spend more on things that make folks lives better. You know, roads, bridges, schools, healthcare, scientific research, environment, assistance to the poor. And they’ll raise taxes to pay for it.

Republicans will cut taxes, especially for the very wealthy. They’ll claim that cutting taxes will stimulate the economy more than enough to pay for those cuts….but it doesn’t. It hasn’t for the past 40 years but they’ll cling to that story like a fat man clings to a sandwich. As their deficits grow, they’ll turn to cutting “entitlements” like social security and Medicare because that’s just what they do.

In 1980 the federal debt was $908 billion. The 1981 tax act cut the top marginal tax rate from 70% to 50%. Our deficits and debt has ballooned from there. Maybe there’s a correlation, ya think?

You've obviously never been to a Democrat run State!!!!!

MN, poor roads, getting worse every year.

Bridges ha, remember the one that fell down and many more about to.

Schools, high taxes, getting higher every year while test scores go down.

Health-care???? Mine went up %600 from 2012 to 2017. Service is still the same at the hospital.

Environment???? Ever hear about the buffer law MN passed that took millions of acres out of production, but the owner still gets to pay taxes on it???

Assistance to the poor, they are good at that, more "poor people" getting Assistance daily.

Democrats will raise taxes, especially for the very wealthy. They’ll claim that raising taxes will befit the poor and put more money into the system….but it doesn’t. It hasn’t for the past 40 years but they’ll cling to that story like a fat man clings to a sandwich.
