Not exactly. Do you pass on the cost of your taxes when you sell your crop?
Can you not follow logic or just choose not to? Taxes get passed down almost every time and eventually to the bottom rung. Everybody very much passes on the cost of their taxes. Everyone, and I mean everyone who has less money because of taxes buys less from everybody else. He may still buy the combine when he sells his crop but he is going to wax it himself instead of paying the up and coming kid that was starting a business detailing equipment and was going good until nobody had that extra $250 bucks and now he is on welfare and discouraged. Fun times my friend.
